Here’s a step-by-step:
Push back your cuticles.
Trim short and shape your nails with a nail file and a nail trimmer.
Buff your natural nails lightly with a nail buffer, to get rid of the natural oils on your nails and make your nail glue adhere better.
(OPTIONAL) File down the inside of the press ons with an electric file to make nail glue adhesion even stronger.
Wipe off your natural nails and press ons with an alcohol wipe to remove dust and remaining oils.
Apply a smidge of nail glue to your natural nails and the inside of your press on.
If you use the complementary adhesive nail glue, hold down for 15-30 seconds until the glue hardens. This glue will hold for 1-2 weeks.
If you use nail glue that must be cured by a UV Lamp, cure your nail under a mini UV Lamp for 60-120 seconds. This glue will hold for 2-3 weeks.
Avoid wetting your hands for the next hour.
Enjoy showing off your gorgeous new nails!
Want to re-apply your nails after having worn them once?
To prep nails for reuse, soak the worn press-ons in a bowl of warm soapy water for 5-10 minutes. This will help break down any leftover glue. Remove the press-ons from the water and dry.
Take the orange buffer and buff off any remaining glue from the backside of the press-on. Repeat steps as needed.
To remove the leftover glue faster, use this electric nail file from Amazon: Electric nail file
